Learn from local music professionals and experts
Three panels will be happening throughout the event, each highlighting a different facet of the local music scene.
Andy Adelewitz
The first will be led by Andy Adelewitz, a co-organizer of Ithaca’s iconic Porchfest. Andy will be in conversation with local venues and promoters as they explore some of the issues Ithaca’s music scene is currently facing.
Dan Smalls
The second presentation is with Dan Smalls, preseidnt of DSP Shows, one of the largest concert promotions organizations in Central New York. Dan will be talking about his experience as a promoter in the music industry.
Roger Moseley
Our third presenter is Roger Moseley, director of the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards. Roger will give an educational presentation on Ithaca’s music history and it’s connection to one of musics most influential intruments, the synthesizer.
